GVS LEADS

GVS Leads is the resource for members of the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce. A product of the Board of Director’s strategic planning process, this business retention and expansion program is all about helping our members maximize their potential as business owners. The Chamber’s Business Development Committee, Co-Chaired by Arturo Gabaldon (Community Water Company) and Doug Christy (Pro/Vision Coaching) put the meat on the bone so to say as a formal program was developed. In coordination with the Town of Sahuarita and their Economic Development Team headed up by Victor Gonzalez, initial interviews of sixty local businesses assisted in defining the needs of the program.

The GVS Leads program is designed to assist business in an effort to help them survive economic difficulties and help them be competitive in the marketplace. This is done through assessments of their business models, connecting them with subject matter experts in core areas of their business where support is needed, and sharing best practices through executive roundtables and educational seminars.

With a grant from Freeport-McMoRan, the GVS Leads Program became a reality!

The program has an assessment tool that will be available to every one of our members. This software will allow an in-depth analysis of any business. An owner can get a full understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of their business and affect change to strengthen their position. This information is critical to run at full efficiency for maximum competitiveness and to maximize their value. Through GVS Leads, we can connect business owners with experts or information to improve their operation.

At the end of the day, GVS Leads is a business development program. The Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to providing the tools necessary for our businesses to stay, prosper, and grow in our community!
